Noelle is quite active these days! She moves A LOT! In the mornings - Her arms and/or feet tap on me to get me out of bed. At night - she pretends to play the drums to show off for her daddy :) (She sure kicks that foot pedal pretty hard at times though! Ha! Ha!) My belly is outgrowing some shirts I just bought a month or so ago. I probably should have bought them a bit bigger, but I had no idea what to expect. This IS my first rodeo :) Bending over to tie my shoes is becoming a little harder these days too. I'm mentioning all these funny things because I never dreamed I'd outgrow a shirt in 4 weeks OR it'd be hard to ever tie my shoes!!!! I'm not quite at the stage yet where I can't SEE my feet, so I'll be sure to let you all know when that happens! My last Doctor appt. was last Monday. After getting on the scales, I ultimately decided to completely cut out ice cream :( I put on about 6 more pounds than I should have. Soooo, Ryan and I both have completely cut ice cream out of our diets. I think he decided to do so to support me!!! So we now treat ourselves to a yummy frozen fruit bar (that have less than half the calories of ice cream) after we walk every evening... so we're good to go! My DR said Noelle's heartbeat sounded real healthy. Again, she said, "boy she's an active little booger!"
I just smiled and said "Indeed she is" :)
3.5 months to go!! Can you believe it?!?

I'm happy to announce Ryan finally felt Noelle move this past Sunday, May 10th... which happened to be Mother's Day!!! I think she was happy to hear his voice, as he had been gone for 2 days and she was missing him :) We were both happy to see him back (well, I saw him, she just heard him!) He thought it was sooo awesome feeling her move. I love EVERY minute of it too and wish she moved around ALL THE TIME. Well, except when I'm trying to go to sleep.... I need all the sleep I can get these days. She moves so much in the evening's... anytime after around 7p... she moves around like crazy pretty much throughout the rest of the night. She stays pretty calm through the daytime. (She's probably gonna be a night owl just like her mommy and daddy use to be!)
OH NO!!!!!!!!21 Weeks / 2 Days
This past Saturday, May 2nd, marked the half way point for us... 20 weeks! My belly resembles more like 30 weeks though :) J/K!!! I can definitely feel her movin around a lot more. She took her first nice little jab at me last night! It was like "WHOA!" So I immediately had Ryan put his hand on my belly, hoping she would move for him to feel... but again, she stopped. I swear she's playing a game with him! She'll start movin around, and as soon as he puts his hands on my belly, she freezes! We're hoping this won't last too much longer :) OH, and before Ryan leaves the house ..... he gives me AND Noelle (my belly) a kiss. It's so cute :P We walk every night now (if it's not raining). I love it!! I feel guilty if I miss a day. I think it's helping my back too. (This extra weight on my back has REALLY been getting to me lately). I stayed EXTREMELY active this past weekend (running errands/shopping.... It was nice. Below I've attached a couple of Noelle's first outfits that Grandma Land bought her after we found out we were having a girl :) They are soooo tiny and cute! Ryan said, "I just can't imagine putting those booties on a foot that tiny!"
I replied, "ME EITHER!"
